Sunday — Flakstad to Å
Cycled the final stretch across the Lofoten via Reine all the way to Å — the last village at the very end of the road — then back to a campsite in Moskenes.
Monday — Reinebringen Hike
A rest day well spent: laundry, then a climb up the 484-metre Reinebringen for jaw-dropping views over Reine and the fjords. Dinner at Anita’s Seafood.
Tuesday — Stamsund & Hurtigruten Departure
Start of the return journey. Cycled to Stamsund via the Nappsundtunnelen, passing stockfish drying racks, and boarded the Hurtigruten ferry north.
Wednesday — Hurtigruten through the Trollfjord to Tromsø
A scenic day at sea: the highlight was sailing into the narrow Trollfjord, with stops in Svolvær and Finnsnes. Arrived back in Tromsø by afternoon.
Thursday — Last Day in Tromsø
Hiked up Fjellheisen for panoramic views over the city, used the swimming pool and sauna, and ended with a final group dinner.
Friday — Last Preparations
Final logistics in Tromsø before the journey home.
Saturday — Fly Home to Zurich
From Tromsø airport back to Kloten. End of an unforgettable three weeks in northern Norway.
