I’m generally not opposed to the use of AI, but I’m worried about the societal, legal, and environmental impact of artificial intelligence, mostly as it concerns LLMs. I assume the tools themselves are not dangerous, but the careless and reckless use of them poses a danger.
This blog follows the Linux rules for LLM/AI tools:
- LLMs or other AI tools might be used for this blog.
- Currently, this involves using Kagi Translate’s proofreading features to check for spelling mistakes.
- Previously, LanguageTool was used for the same reason.
- The author of this blog always takes full responsibility for the contents of this blog.
- This applies not only to LLMs but also to other human-written content that might be published here.
- This also applies to the code for the Hugo template, which is created with the utmost care.
- Currently, no images are created for blog posts using generative AI.
- This applies to complete image generation as well as the editing of images.
- Images generated or edited with or without AI are always labeled as edited/generated.
- Previously, generative AI was used to generate an image from a text prompt.
- LLMs are currently blocked from this blog using Cloudflare’s blocking feature.
